AYA is a bold, abstract woman seated alongside a long, elegant crane-like bird. Bright colour and intricate detail move through the figures, contrasted against solid blocks of deep navy that give the piece a sense of calm and structure.
The balance between the highly detailed forms and pared-back navy creates a feeling that is both energetic and grounded — colourful, feminine and a little mysterious. AYA is a piece that rewards a closer look, with details and layers revealing themselves throughout.
