“MEET ME AT THE MARBLE RIVER”

“This collection was created much like a design project — guided by the materials, forms, and aesthetics I was drawn to at the time.
Marble veining, stone beads, bold feminine silhouettes, and the idea of statement art designed for beautifully styled homes all played a role in shaping these works.

The pieces play with the balance between strength and softness — bold, confident shapes set against gentler, marble-inspired tones. Some works have a raw, tactile finish, while others are smoother and more fluid, creating a natural contrast that draws the viewer in.

Each artwork carries a strong presence without overpowering a space. They act as statement pieces that bring depth, character, and a quiet sense of confidence. This collection reflects bold femininity, intentional design, and the beauty found in materials shaped slowly over time.”

  • "Azul" emerges from a fascination with the interplay between strength and serenity, a dialogue that is central to the idea of bold femininity. In this piece, I sought to capture the essence of power and grace in an abstract form, layering bold shapes with soft, tranquil hues.

    Inspired by the mesmerizing beauty of marble—its organic veins & unpredictable nature I wanted to try capture a little of its beauty while maintaining a sense of control and intentionality.

    The piece is framed in a handmade, deep pine floating frame, stained in a rich dark brown.

    "Azul" is an exploration of femininity in all its complexities—bold, yet gentle; commanding, yet soft—and an homage to the natural world’s endless capacity for beauty and transformation.
